Abby Miller has been a competitor in the Miss America Organization since 2017. As a result of cultivating her passion for service within the organization, she founded Project HAPPY: a movement focused on mental health education and resources.
Abby has traveled to over 100 classrooms in Southern Wisconsin to work with children on communication, team-building, and the signs of a mental illness. You can fill out the "Request a Presentation" form below to book Abby to speak to your classroom or organization meeting.
Classroom Presentations
In-person visits allows us to work with younger age groups on communication and team-building: two essential skills that will lay the foundation for emotional wellness.
Activities include several team-building exercises, and an overview on what mental health is.
Virtual Presentations
Our virtual presentation format includes a variety of activities students can practice from home! Check out our lesson plan page for examples.
Video Series
The Happy Jar will be launching a video series you all can view at home- any time! You can learn about how to address mental health in the classroom, coping mechanisms, the signs of mental illness, and more!
Project HAPPY has designed multiple presentations spanning several age groups. Want to learn more about what we offer? Visit our presentation walk-through below!
